STRIDER combines cost-competitive rugged autonomy with intuitive control to deliver safe access, precise manipulation, and scalable payload options for CBRN response, ordinance remediation and other hazardous beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) missions. Its hot‑swap architecture supports rapid role changes—from sample collection to wide‑area decontamination—and its high towing capacity enables last‑mile logistics and recoveries in complex terrain.

Hot‑swap payloads and high‑capacity tow options enable STRIDER to pivot between roles: sample & object retrieval, precision & wide‑area decontamination, ordnance detection & remediation, logistics support, and as a UxV recharge/data relay “mothership”. Novel power & data interfaces on STRIDER’s robotic gripper support a range of powered tools to further extend the platform’s capabilities.

Operators command STRIDER via a ruggedised game controller and map‑centric UI, enabling intuitive tele‑op BLOS with lower training burden. RGB, thermal, and LiDAR sensors provide rich area mapping in unstructured, GPS-denied environments.

Tracked mobility, 8 hours continuous operation, and large towing capacity keep tempo in challenging terrain and unstructured environments. Configurable spray systems (powder and liquids) and sealed sample payload boxes support CBRN remediation with repeatable, auditable outcomes.

Deploy STRIDER for area mapping, targeted sampling, and wide‑area or precision decontamination using configurable spray systems. The platform retrieves objects, secures contaminated materials, and documents actions to reduce human exposure and accelerate recovery.

Conduct BLOS reconnaissance with RGB, thermal, and LiDAR mapping, then use the 6‑DOF arm for precision retrieval. Intuitive controls and automated operations shorten time‑to‑task and improve operator effectiveness in complex environments.

Explosive ordnance detection and remediation

Using a Ground Penetrating Radar mounted on it's robotic arm and novel thermal imaging techniques, STRIDER can undertake automated ordinance detection on ground, wall and ceilings. Once located and mapped, STRIDER can then undertake netralisation via a number of techniques.
